I totally did! I was just wanting to point out a few things about these drivers that I discovered along the way that might be relevant.

Yeah I don’t think it will like that much power. I have 2600 on tap and it seems to want more. I was thinking a 5k but the 8k is almost same price. I could get a 1ohm 8k since my sub is a 2ohm and leave room for expansion. Plus the impedence rise is huge on this sub.

So I would be very concerned about giving a single sub 8k. A 3" coil can't handle that many watts, I wouldn't think. I've seen a few 3" coils take on a 3500 watt amp but any more than that and it'll blow.
