American Bass 12” SQ dual voice coil subs

I just got a pair of American Bass SQ 12’s and can’t find any info on them. They have dual voice coils and wondering if anyone has any info on them. They came in a bassworx dual 12 ported enclosure that I think is way too small
They are dual 4 ohm subs but I was curious about rms and enclosure volume for ported

If I remember correctly they are 600 watts rms each. I never used them so I really don’t know about the box specs. I haven’t seen any of those around for several years now.

Basket looks like the older XFL series, and the cone area looks like the older TNT series to me. I dont believe I have ever seen that sub. I dont remember it. Deff cool looking. Id try 600 watts on them to see how they hold up if coils read good and apply a little more at a time. Look like thay could handle 1k all day though.

Me neither. When was AB Made in the USA? It had to be very early on in the life of AB.

So here’s an update. I contacted AB and the guy didn’t know what they are. So I took in account all of the info given and built a port tuned 32hz 3.03 net slot port and it sounds very good. The dust cap is rattling on one sub so that’s where I’m at. Way better than the b box prefab tuned to 40. I just did the big 3 and am going to run 0 gauge for my amp. Then start on components. Thanks for info guys!
