just replaced the torque side motor mount 2 weeks ago. now the right side mount broke. fvck, it's a pain in the ass to replace.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/pissed.gif.9f665f96bc89e98e708dabd4580bb591.gif is this a common issue on gm vehicles? thinkin' about trading for a toyota. lots of little problems with my s-10. love the 4.3l v-6. hate the constant repairs.

wrong. had a ranger that was worse than any chevy i've had. my company snow plows and every ford we've had never makes it through the winter. the chevy's almost all do.

i like chevy. this one i have always has an issue though. probably because i didn't own it from new. people don't take care of vehicles well. had 60,000 on it when i bought it. someone probably changed the oil twice that whole time. first time i changed the oil i found that the filter was the original from the factory. they were just draining the oil and leaving the old filter in.

 
that sucks man....

i'm on my 3rd dodge and i had ZERO problems with the first (with just over 30k mi) and ZERO with the 2nd (just over 100k mi)... i had more problems with my accord...

i hope you can get it all fixed up quickly and back on the road!

all cars are PIECES OF SHIT. pick your poison.

my buddy and me both have explorers. mine with 160k, his with 200k. no problems from either. its not ford, its not chevy, its not dodge, its not toyota, its not honda.

its ALL of them.

let me ask you something...you think automobile companies want their cars lasting 300k? hell no, they want repairs day in and day out. thats how you make your money.

 
What modle s-10 do u have. I got an 89 4.3 blazer with 3hundred n 4thousand miles on it and the biggest problem that i had was killing my alt.Its still going strong
We've got an astro van with the 4.3, 250k miles and the most expensive thing replaced on it was the EGR valve at 160$
