Alternator got owned

So my 2001 Chevy Silverado's stock ALternator is done...i thought it was my battery but found out while driving that its my alternator since my it wont spark my spark plugs causing me to bog out while accelerating. Im kinda stoked since i might get a kinetik 1800 and a new H/O Alt out of this. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Anyone got any ideas on how much im looking at for the H/O Alt? i dont need anything crazy just maybe like a 180 or 200 Amp would do im running a 2010d and 2 12's nothing crazy. see if mechman has any older like 200 amp alts for you. they would be around $250 if they have any. their usually last years models or something

I've seen alot of mixed reviews on them, but I've ran an Iraggi 220 amp for a couple of years now and it has treated me great. I'm not current on other companies pricing but at the time I bought mine most other companies were substantially more expensive for the same alternator...It has kept up with 1200 watts up to 5000 watts for me just fine. From what I've seen some people say Dom doesn't have very good customer service, but any time I've had a question I have emailed him and got a response within a couple of hours if not faster. you could talk to nate at excessive amperage too he does alot of models for chevy v8s also DC power is popular on this forum..
