Which high output alternator puts out the most amps at idle? Have a jeep wrangler im about to replace the stock 160 amp so i can run 2 skar evl 12s on a skar rp3500 watt amp and another 500 watt amp for my dash and rollbar speakers. Also gonna buy an xs powe 3400 battery

Do you use the jeep wrangler off road like in dirt roads back highways all the time? That would help changing the alternator also. That way the battery gets recharged. With skar and amp, you’ll be running on performance and not tech. Then you’ll need to find the correct specs to the speaker and amp to place on. If the speakers are lower ohms, change the speakers. Make all of it 4 ohms. One more note on the wrangler if you buy the harness if you plan on changing the head unit, buy the manufactures wiring harness already sold as a packet. Just buy the bypass adapter and connect the stock amp to the new amp for the bypass. This should be no problem making that factory amp bypass.

I don’t know if you are adding a CarPlay or Android auto, these harnesses are made specifically for these radio features. CarPlay started in 2014, Android auto started about 2015. Newer features of the car radio. There is a video slot too on the harness and Android radio. So that feature works too. I think on the South Korean made cars, the technology is more on radio rather than on power for cars. So stick to learning all the car radio gadgets for better technician results. Plug this into your iPhone, and you’ve got USB CarPlay. Radio, Google Map, Spotify, and Bluetooth.

You don't need an HO alt, you need a good second battery like a Titan 8 or z GloweVoltage, series 1 or 2. Skip the XS power 3400 if you're getting it for a 2nd battery. One of any of the three I mentioned will be more than adequate, on your stock alt.

As you see, I run close to a 3500, sometimes a 6500 watt system when swapping my SG 2400.1 with my Stinger 4k, all while using a stock 110a alt, a Bosch AGM under the hood and a GloweVoltage series 1 in the rear of the hatch. The GV series 1 or 2.
