Alternatives to sound absorbing materials?
Some good info in this thread: thanks @Julian; and @keep_hope_alive;

Some bad info too Stop posting, start reading @Jaguar; (I put it in bold so you can understand it)
In order for one to learn, one has to make mistakes,
it doesn't help that some people literally cry over bold text, my avatar, style etc. I rather have straight advice and be corrected if I'm wrong, but that's OK, I hear you and believe it or not I have a respect for other members here, all I ask for is mutual respect. I refuse to ''stop posting'' or ''go away'' because I made a mistake. You can't blame a person for being excited about "car audio" and want to join in conversations. Some of you think you run this site, but your wrong the moderators do. In any event, hey I wish you guys all the best with your car-audio systems.

Im not sayin go away, im saying know what you're talking about before telling someone else to do something. Making mistakes to learn is fine, only problem is other people are going to make mistakes by taking your advice thinking you have personal experience. If you don't have the personal experience, then you haven't learned, so leave that answer to someone with the experience.

It's no problem at all. I'm in awe of how much some people know and can do here, my only wish is to get closer to *those levels* one day.

If you want to learn it also takes a lot of trial and error. Personal experience is the best and gives you the most knowledge you can get. Everyone was mad because you posted peal & seal which from even people who used it realized later on how much it sucked. If you had ever used peal & seal and than also had experience with regular deadener than you would never have suggested that.

Right now amazon.com has Stinger Roadkill Expert bulk packs for 99.35 a box (36sq ft) FREE shipping. Very good stuff .80 mil and buytl not tar based like home depot peel and seal which I have heard can stink up a car...

I did mine with the Stinger and it worked amazing.
