No, it actually doesn't. It used to build old SI drivers but they moved on due to QC problems.

Yet he nuthugs Mach 5 which uses an extremely cheap Chinese buildhouse for their products.

That was way out of line. Read up on the SPL topic showing how extremely well built that driver and the quality of parts used in it.

 

We use a fairly expensive American build house. Country of build does not make our drivers any better.

I got an 08 GMC, and wanted to put some subs under then rear seats, but the JL are a little pricey, at $550 per sub, what are some other thin line subs out there that are just as good are better that these crazy 3 ohm subs?

lol this is funny, because there have been quite a few flat line woofers that have been out well before JL came out with theirs.

So I would not say alternative to the JL line.. makes no sense.

Hello Guys/

I was looking at the MTX Shallow mount 10" subs for doors in my 1989 Stang.

I have Power windows,so I figure it may help for mounting.

Does anyone know from the specs if it would be a decent sub? I definately don't have the coin to go for the JL's or any other in "That price range"/.I wanted to ask here,as so maybe the installers or just people that understand the technical terms could explain if they are good subs.

I'm hoping they could go into the doors.Not totally,but at least some.

My doors are totally sealed.I used 1/8" thick aluminum plate and did all the punch

holes.I did 3/layers of mat over top of that.

ed sq10 subs, pretty cheap and bang nicely, brother in law has a single 10" off of 400rms, shakes his scion tc nicely
