audioque help plz

well I plan on ordering an audioque sdc2.5 12 and running it on 750w RMS and after sending them an email about enclosure volume, I was told that

"The subs can be used in sealed boxes 1-1.2 cubes but are designed for ported boxes of 1.7-2.5 net cubes after sub and port displacements. Port 36-40hz"

Does anyone have any experience with this sub in a sealed enclosure? I would like to run mine in a sealed enclosure to save as much space as possible, but want to know if there are any foreseeable problems with this.

Most guys on here are more into SPL, so I doubt they've run them sealed.

SDC's sound good and get loud in ported boxes as I built one the other week. Just do a small ported box...
