Alpine Type X wiring?

I just bought the Alpine Type X and I was wondering if i'd be able to use the same wiring I had for my Type R's. It's 4 gauge wiring all aroudn with some 0 gauge in there. (the 0 gauge is grounded).. If you ran 4 guage for each 1005 then you would probably be ok, otherwise I would run 1/0 to distribution.

Nope, just 1. But it's the 4 OHM obviously, and the 1005mrd only puts out 600w RMS wired 4 OHM. 2 would give me 1200w 4 OHM.

I could always get the ORION 2500d I suppose.

Yeah, this may be a stupid comment but when it comes to the bigger subs i'm new. I know you can wire a 4 OHm down to 1 OHMs, but can you do it to 2 OHM's?..

umm it a dual 4 ohm with means it can be a 2 or 8 ohm load. wire it at a 2 ohm load on that amp.

You cant wire a 4 ohm sub to 1 ohm only 2 you can wire 2 4 ohm to 1 but not 1 4ohm sub to 1 that might be confusing but there almost every website has wiring diagrams
