Alpine Type X Crossover

My alpine type X crossover start to light up when I turn my volume up pretty high. I didn't notice the light until I saw the plastic of my cross over covers had melt due to the light bulb going off. Any suggestions? Thanks.

i am not sure but i would be careful about sending them too much power.

i was using a pair of type x 3 ways (spx-f17t) and they cooked themselves.

they were getting around or maybe a little over 100 watts.

so if the bulb is lighting up that much you may be sending them too much power.

just be careful.
