I didn't say "they aren't loud" I said "they are built like shit"...which was observed by more then one person that was present.

As far as listening, can't tell you much as a)wasn't in a car environment (on our test board), and b)was used for less then 2 minutes in a musical application.

Yet, that bad build quality has stood up to REAL WORLD abuse?

God forbid, the fact that they used the crappiest glue ever conceived by mankind to hold together their woofer, and the fact that I was able to stick my finger under the surround, push up with slight force, and watch the surround peel right off, plays no role in the overall quality of the sub.

I've blown one... because I inverted it and it wasnt aligned improperly.

how the hell does having a sub being aligned improperly invertedly result in a blown subwoofer? Unless you mean you completely missed the mounting hole and made the cone 100% immobile and so the coils heat up like made and the coils fry. Either that or i don't know....
