Alpine TYPE R

I'm looking into purchasing a 12" ALpine Type R along with a bazooka el1500 amp, which is rated at 500 watts rms @ 2 ohms...will this be a good setup?

but also, some people were recommending me the kicker solobaric l5125's, which have incredible low frequencies...and what amp should I use for that if I decide on that....

it all depends what ur lookin to get outta your system and how much space your have. if you want it to sound good go with the type-r, but the L5 will be louder and has been said to sound decent in the right enclosure. also how much space do ya have for the box?

how much u gona spend on that bazooka amp, im sure u could get better than that... good sub tho for sure.
