Nobody can tell you. It's that simple. There is absolutely no way to tell what db you'll hit. You'll hit between 75db and 180db, that I can promise //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Go find a mic and get metered, then you'll know for sure.

However, if you are looking for SPL, sealed is not the way to go.

They aren't gonna hit anything amazing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. But no one knows because there is 74,528 things that can factor in it or maybe 74, 529 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. But honestly, if you're not gonna compete what does it matter as long as it is loud to your ear(which it should sound pretty loud if installed properly). If you wanna compete I'd recommend new subs and ported box.... not dissin on them at all had 2 type r 12s sealed running on 800 or 900 watts i believe in my caddy and loved it back in the day. I dunno just my 2 scent.

2) How many DB's will you hit?- Somewhere within the audible range of sound is your answer. Don't ask questions with infinite variables that are yet to be determined. Deleted on sight.

ok thanks to the ones that actually tried to help, i think my step dad has a new voltmeter that reads dbs...i'll do that and i'll let you know what i metered. to the rest of you...you know who you are...........KISS MY AZZ.

i agree, there are many setups locally with type Rs, they are all sealed, most are 12 twelves or 2 tens, and a buddy has one 12 in a ported box i made for him and it beats out all of them, cant wait to get my 05 type R the box is already made
