MTX has their lower lines and their same old school type good quailty stuff. all the jackhammer and other bullcrap money making stuff are obviously their lower lines. As far as the 7500 and up thunder series subs....theyre great. Also their thunder elite amps are very underrated and i have yet to find another amp to clealy out-do them. BTW they are undoubtedly the best looking amps too IMO

The sub you pictured is a 10" 9500 series sub which retails for about 700 bucks considering it is crap.

And their old school amps were a little better but still crap.

For $100 less, than that 9500 you could get a 10W7 which will beat the hell out of it in output and clarity because the mtx are crap.

W3's are very similar to the original w6's they are great subs. your opinion is crap

you have yet to find an amp that can out-do an mtx, your level of experience is crap.

Pretty much... either used, installed, or played with in a friends car. lol

yeah old mtx amp were alright but if i'da said that i couldn't have continued my clever monologue based on the repetition of the word crap. I wouldn't own a new one though considering alternative options.

i ran 2 12 type R (SWR 1242D) woofers with 1000watts at 2ohm. i sold them and picked up 2 12w3v2's in a HO wedge box and runnin 500 at 4ohm and its lounder and cleaner than my alpines were //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

#1 a 2 type-x's will run you about the same in price as 4 w3's.

#2 op has 600 watts to work with which isn't enough for even 1 type-x.

#3 type-x's aren't exactly output beasts. you will get more output out of the 2 w3's on that power.
