I'd go with JL Audio or DD.

Just did an all JL setup in my 98' V70

Interested to see more of what other people would run. Thinking about what to put in the girlfriends car. I've been wanting to try image dynamics, audison, hertz, and dynaudio but haven't got around to it. I'm interested in upgrading my front end in the near future, yet jl/dd/sq are all 4 ohm, my stock setup is 2 ohm and other forums talk about keeping it at 2 ohm to maintain SQ and balance

You will not notice any difference running at 2 ohm or 4 ohm when it comes to maintaining SQ. SQ has more to do with how you image your soundstage, EQing, sound dampening your doors and such..

JBL makes great speakers, I wouldn't buy the Infinity Basslink though..

If I could do all one brand I would definitely go B2, I've had lots of Sundown which I love but b2 would be an excellent choice imo.
