I was just messing w/ ya. Looks like you flip-floppitied on that based on my gross out of context highlighting. I have never seen any DD setups that have impressed me and would never recommend them to anyone for any daily/demo applications. That's just my own opinion for the OP.

Yea i really prefer the fi built subs, aka fi, ssa, aa, etc

So let us say you could get car audio that was 100% made in the USA, was slightly more reliable, and performed as well as comparable chinese junk. How much more would you be willing to spend? 10%, 30%, nothing more?

How will it be more reliable, just because its made in the US does not make it reliable, and not all Chinese make is junk. You need to get rid of this @ss backward mentality.

I will not get rid of it, I know everyone loves to justify saying it's a global economy so they don't have to feel guilty about putting their neighbor out of work for the sake of getting cheap products.

But my question was hypothetical, saying IF it was more reliable?

My Lunar Amplifiers were assembled in Louisiana and my Digital Designs Sub was assembled in Oklahoma, so I guess that makes me a hypocrite.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif Now if my Lunars were to die and I couldn't get them repaired or replaced, I'd run another JL Audio HD900/5 in a heartbeat OR a pair of JL Audio HD amplifiers. Naturally, if some other quality full-range class d amplifier would fit under my front seats, I'd consider them too.

Well, except for Alpine... I'm convinced that I will NEVER own a PDX amplifier that functions properly, so I've given up on Alpine amplifiers all together!
