Alarm install on 2004 Silverado

Im doing a bit of shopping and research for an alarm install soon on my truck. The alarm is a Viper 791xv. What I need to know, but am having trouble findign out, is what I need to install the alarm. I know GM has the Passlock system, but I cant find out if I need a passlock bypass module thingy for my truck. Anyone know where to find out?

You need a 457gw DEI bypass module. It will bypass the passlock system in the truck, do door locks, factory alarm disarm, etc. It uses the data wire located at the diag. plug under drivers side dash. Very simple hook up.
