AGU fuse melting every 10 seconds

wow my bad.

Did I miss what amp and such? but with a 100 amp fuse its prolly not because the amp is pulling too much but ya never know. check and make sure no grounds are touching anywhere and that the are no breaks in you power cable that may be grounding on the cars chassis

Check and make sure you don't have a short at the terminals on the amp. It sounds like you have a short somewhere if it is blowing within 10 seconds.

internal short to ground...
not necessarly. replacing the amp may have made him move the wiring far enough to keep it from shorting on what it was originally.

if i were you i would try to put the original amp back in and see if it does the same thing again. if it does then i would agree its an internal short.

edit: one more thing to the OP...why would you replace the fuse more than twice if it kept blowing? thats like throwing money into the toilet

ok fine...but he actually used 4. hey at least he didnt up the fuse size which i see all the time. im just saying IMO if i blow a second fuse, i whip out my dmm and start probing for a short.
