Aftermarket CD Player with Factory Tape Deck

Is it possible to install an aftermarket cd player without taking out the factory deck and use them both???

You should be able to add a cd changer without removing your factory stereo. This way you can play cds and tapes. I have an equalizer/preamp that has two inputs so you can switch between tape player and cd changer . I think you need to connect it to an amp though.

you can add a Cd changer the plays on a radio freq from the trunk. It will just sound like FM not a CD.

I don't think it sounds as bad as radio, but it's not cd quality sound. Why don't you just replace the tape deck with a cd player?

Its impossible for it to sound any better than FM if it's through FM

If you have an amplifier, you can hook up a discman directly to the amps rca input.
