aero help?

I want to build a box for an 18'' just wondering how much airspace could i get after woofer and port with aeros....max size is 35wx19hx22d...tuning to 38 thanks

well, you don't say what sub it is, so I used 0.2 for sub displacement. (if it's in your sig, sorry but I have sigs/ava's off for school browsing.)

Using those dimensions, you get 6.75cubes internal and after the sub displacement. 4 4" aero ports will displace about .3-.4 cubes, and your left with a box volume of 6.4 cubes after all displacements, excluding bracing of course.

(to tune to 38 you are going to need ~12" long ports if your using flared)

Plus, sub displacement on that will only vary by like .1, .2 at the most, so it really won't change much. Most it'll change tuning is by 0.xx hz, and it'll change box size accordingly. Not too big a deal. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

If you find me the displacement I can re-calculate really quick for you though if you want.

hey guys im actually thinking about do a box that is 19height 36 width and 23depth...going to use aeros and more then likely a Fi BTL 18'' would that work tune it to around 33 or so for daily
