I don't think 3-3.5 cu ft and 40 sq in of port is alot.Last box I did for my 2 12's had 6 cubes with like 75.

How did it sound musically???

As long as you aren't playing way below tuning you will be fine.A bigger box is more effecient.

It had a decent transient responce.But I do listen to mostly rap so a little bit of muddled bass didn't bother me to much.It did move some air though.

seems like your box for the wmd's was way underported and could have probably been bigger, given your power level.

Always figure 12-15 square inches of port area per cubic foot. So if you're going to have 3 cubes per sub, look at 90 sq. in. per pair.

I agree funny thing is, is thats what Pierce told me to use for the airspace I had.

I was running a Cactus 5k on those subs at 2ohm then so I was prob seeing 2500 to 3k out of it. But yah the WMDs only have a single spider, so Im assuming thats why they recommended the port area they did so I didn't completely ruin the suspensions.

Also wanting to know what about a 4th order bandpass. Or would I have enough airspace to do it and would it give me better results for what Im after. Looking at 33 tall 39 wide and 26 deep.

Alright things changed up. Im gonna have much more power running in the end when Im done. So if I have like 8k available for power would you run the 4 L7 12s or 4 round 15s. The airspace is gonna be like 3.5 per sub for the 15s and the maximum for the L7s.
