Im wanting some input from anyone who has done a few or a lot wall builds. I am soon gonna be re walling my 02 Ford Taurus with 4 L7 12s I was not happy with my 4 Pierce Audio WMD 15s that I just ripped out, they were very musical but didn't really push air for shit.

Im wanting to know if there is a better place for port that will push air better while still maintaining descent sq? (Beat for beat you know).

As of now my box is 2 separate ones that are 5.763 cubes after sub and vent displacement. They are gonna have 67.5 inches of port per pair(kicker recommended) and is tuned to 32hz. Ports are gonna be located on the passenger side. Unless told to do differently the whole point of this post. Also looking for someone with a long history with solo-baric's, cus If a diff amount of port area is recommended im only gonna listen to someone who has a history of builds with these subs.

obviosly not to scale lol (drawn very quick) but you get th idea build two side by side boxes with ports @top then face /beauty plate over both

Advisement? Is that even a word? I don't even think Dubya could make that up.
WOW!! You would think by as many post you have put up that you would have learned not to post dump.

And yes it's a word look it up if you have to smart one and gtfo this thread unless you have some input on the topic at hand.

Were are you looking to get the air moving? Are you lookin for hair tricks at the widow or are you just wanting to move alot of air?
Hair trick at the window while still maintaining a descent sq satisfactory level that suites me if you get what im trying to say.

I would say it's more a matter of box tuning, song played, power level/subs vs port placement. I've always read that port on driver's side meters the loudest though.

I did 4-5 walls a few months ago, some port in the center, some on driver's side. I believe they all do hair tricks...

See I think my 4 15s didn't do a good enough hair trick due to the fact of port area. Even though I did the recommended by pierce.

How do you think I got so many posts?

I believe the word you were looking for was "Advice"

Good luck with your wall, stinky.

The box may be alittle small but I would run port on the driver side.Get as much port area as you can and shrink it down till you find the tuning you like.
As of now Im looking at like 6.0 cubes flat with port along top of each enclosure they are gonna be separate boxes. And it looks like 72inches of port per pair. Tuned to 32hz.
