ADVICE - $Retail vs Online$ - KICKER2500

I've almost completely narrowed my amp choice down to the KICKER2500

But I need some advice!

Here in Lubbock I've contacted a registered KICKER dealership. They told me I can pick up a brand new KICKER2500 with 2 year warranty for $1400 retail price!

This was god awful news to me, because I had found several online dealers ranging their KICKER2500 prices from $650 to $790... and I was even hoping to find a used KICKER2500 for under $500.

I told that to the guy at the local dealership, and he pursued to explain how they themselves can't get the amp for cheaper than $1220

SO, what do you guys think is a reasonable price to pay for this amp, and where do you advise me getting it? Is my local dealer uselessly over priced? And does any one know of a reliable online source/store where I could get this amp for used/cheap?

You have to be retarded to buy local, For that price you could buy 2 of em.

seems like a new one pops up nearly every few days on here...no more than $600 though, new.

And they are lying to you. Dealer price is probably half of that. Probably around 499 or so.
