Advice needed

I have been helping friends out for years Putting in small systems 1k wrms or less

Looking to upgrade my own system (loudness being more important that SQ)

Currently have
1 Kinetik HC600 at rear
Fosgate P1000.1bd (1534@1ohm birthsheet)
2 L7 12"
4ga OFC fosgate cable
Cheap double din pioneer
100AMP inline 12V Breaker (vs a fuse)

Thinking of going with a new fosgate t1500.1(2,000+ rms) and 2 skar audio EVL-2X12D4 with their box as well as big three upgrade, bigger power/ground wire of course.


Is it worth the time (would it be that much louder for the money)

I have not been into car audio the past couple years as I have had this same setup for about 5 years with ZERO issues.

Going to give my GF my old system if I do move forward on this since she is a bass head also.

Any advice will be highly appreciated!

I like changing it up regardless if it’ll be louder or not so I say change it up! I think the Rockford amp is a good choice but may be able to find better for the price. I’m also not a fan of Skar. On that power I’d go 2 SSA GCON’s, Sundown SA’s, Incriminator LI’s, lots of choices.

Id run 2 XFL 12s on 3k. Sounds like you have the room
