Added nitrous to my car.

Hold up, this saturn kid is hating on 5.0's now
I take back what I said about him being a ricer, he is DEFINATLY a dumb *** ricer.

Your saturn doesnt run 15's even on the bottle, go jump off a cliff and land on your face.

Even I dislike mustangs and I have MAJOR respect for 5.0's
i beat my friends 5.0 in my civic off a 100 shot. stock internals. he has an automatic though.

edit..the 5.0's are in 95 gt's right?

Okay listen up, your not getting what I am saying! I'm NOT saying it will get 30mpg all the time no matter how you drive it, that's just rediculous to think that lol. I am saying if you are light on the gas (no boosting) or just cruising the freeway, you can easily get 30mpg or even more with a well tuned setup. The second you start boosting and doing a bunch of 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear rippers? Your mileage goes out the window and you won't get close to 30mpg. Do you get it now?
Example you live 300 miles from the drag strip. You can fill up with pump gas and cruise on the freeway the whole way there on one tank of gas (10 gallon), then once your there, you can fill it up with race gas and run crazy times and put down insane horsepower. Obviously in this case you will need an ECU that will allow you to switch from a pump gas tune to a race gas tune. That's what I mean when I say you can get 30mpg and still be able to make a shit ton of horsepower.

As far as my car goes, here's my best drag radial time (13.4 @ 105mph) on 9psi (about 210whp). Like I said I only made 5 passes and didn't have that great of a 60ft, so with more seat time and boost (12-14psi), a 12.9 pass is easily possible on street tires... http://users.adelphia.net/~pshickey/images/TimeSlip2.JPG Like I said find me a place to host my videos and I will show you my car running a consistant 13.2 @ 101mph on 9psi with not so great traction. It's kinda funny your questioning my times at all, there are faster cars with this kind of horsepower you know (a lite vehicle and traction is everything).

Oh and back to a more serious convo, check this video out, turbo GSR hatch racing at watkins glen (Jeff Evans's car), looks like he is passing just about everybody (RWD and AWD cars) and I even think I saw him passing a nissan! Before you say it, I know he is probably just a better driver and I'm not saying FWD hatches are better for road racing than a real sports cars by any means, but with the right setup it is possible to have a fun quick Honda that handles decently well on a road race track. Oh and the instructor wouldn't let him shift past 6500rpms, since he was scared, so he was never able to show the cars full potential. He did reach speeds up to 130mph by the end of the day though. Obviously you can tell it wasn't setup with race suspension or brakes from the last part of the video lol. Still pretty cool video... http://www.evans-tuning.com/videos/Jeffs_Hatch.wmv
Okay for those of you who DONT feel like reading this garbage, lemme summarize it:

I'm an idiot who doesn't know a **** thing about fuel economy and such. I like to think i do because i still play the first two gran turismo games on playstation because my parents won't buy me a Playstation 2 or Xbox 360. I also read honda brochures and read biased car magazines with editors who, like me, dont know shit about cars in general. I hate all vehicles that can spank mine, especially my neighbor's golf cart... that old bastard laughs at me every time he pwns me... its because i missed a shift in my auto. I also think that running race fuels is the end of all discussion. Its got more octane and costs more, so it must add like 400 hp right? Thats just what my dumbass friend told me. He also says that altezza tails can shave .5 seconds off of your 1/4 time. Ive seen it too!
rofl.

OH and FYI. FWD sucks balls, end of story... And most hondas dont rev too far past 6500rpms. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

mmm...Im not a big fan of the 5.0's for their body style. Quite possibly the most horrible couple years for mustang ever. But other than that, I would love to drop a 5.0 into my engine bay too. The biggest I can fit is a 2 liter. Though it is commonly ranked one of the best top 10 engines for compacts, the SR20de(t).
SR20s arent bad. Then again they arent that great either. You could fit a KA24DE with a good turbo setup and **** half of the import scene in that lil sentra. Ive seen it done... it was krazy.

True true, but if im going to drop a KA24, I'll just buy a 200sx instead and drop it into that. Though it would make for one hell of a sleeper...

Big deal, we can all bring up stories, I slayed a group of hondas all on a road trip to OK, with 2 friends in the car in a trunk full of bags. One was a N20'd SI which got left badly. I bet him horrible at first, then he rolled up again and said hold on and switched on his juice, lost again. another was a RSX with some sort of forced induction - had a intercooler on the front and a wine, and he almost beat me but got left once my shitty stock auto shifted slipping into 4th he lost his fender to fender he had and ended up seeing my taillights, and other was a GS-R that got left in the dust. And some kind of teg that I left so badly I was hitting the brake lights in his face just to **** with him. At the time my car was stock with a dying ******.

But big deal, stories dont mean shit.

And yes a 95 is a 5.0, and completely stock they are slow, but once you start messing with them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
