Balance and T/A is better. Its sounding much better now. My left tweet was my major prob since it's so damn close and they're so damn sensitive.
And yes, just get an HU w/ T/A and 3way xover.. how about that clarion one for sale at newegg?
I heard your same HDS's off axis at the Dallas Diyma BBQ. Very impressive.

Can you TA your way out of a midrange "out of phase" issue?
Wouldn't suggest using T/A as a fix for phase issues.

Can I use TA to delay or change the timing such that the mids go in phase?
The problem here is that you may be creating a time arrival problem. Time arrival is an issue separate from phase, even though adjusting the time arrival also changes the relative phase between the channels (though adjusting phase won't change the time arrival).

What is the relationship between polarity and phase?
Long story short, as James mentioned, just because the speakers are wired "in-phase" doesn't mean the sound waves reaching your head are also in-phase.

The good news - I got my IASCA 2000 tuning disk //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/woot.gif.aaa6090e619a97b6090d16dd863c5a69.gif

The bad news - I can image my tweets and my mids separately, but I'm getting assr8pt when they blend. I think it's the tweeters, I need to get them to image a little lower, the mids are perfect right on top of my dash. I have a little right bias in my T/A on the tweeters that I need to fix. I'm worried that even if I get the sound of both to come from the same spot it won't sound perfect when blended.

Phase issue maybe. I'd suggest you get your mids to image higher to meet with your tweets. Try to T/A both mids simultaneously/equally, or try flipping the phase of both tweets to see if the image raises.
