Most of the pro war ppl are rich people, have never been poor and dont know what its likes to be hungry as a child a lot of the time

People dont realized that the war isnt just a war on iraq's afghanis arabs or even muslims. It is a war against americans here in this country. Americans are becoming poorer and poorer while the defence industry is making a killing LITERALLY. The billions of dollars spent on the war is money that will never be spent on education, crumbling public housing and healthcare. There is a rush of senior citizens up to canada because American drugs are just to expensive..

i agree with you in the fact that SOMEONE should do SOMETHING, but do you really think that the U.S. is really in a position to attempt something like that right now?

We tried to help them once and got our *** kicked, Black hawk down? my cousin was portrayed in the movie and was wounded over there as well. Im not very political but from what happend last time we better go over there with a diff president and a decked out army. We killed like 140 to them killing 14 of ours, and yet we still didnt win and gained nothing out of it but a kick *** movie.

well, im probably gonna get flamed, but f*ck it. Why do we always have to be the helpers? Let some of those other greedy *** countries help. fawk man. We are in the middle of a f*cking war. Whether it is wrong or not I do not care, we need to start being this so-called superpower we are, by telling all those shithole countries to go fix there own **** problems. They have brains, but they use 99.9999 % of it *****ing about how shitty there life is, and how america is shit cause we wont give them money. WTF did they do to deserve the money? Have some ******* leader become a tyrant, and that is somehow our fault? It is there own shithole countries fault. We just need to mind our own **** business like canada. Yeah, but we created our own problems through our own actions, and electing bad leaders. They on the other hand, didn't do a thing.

No they did that to themsleves as well. But to many people are killed and dragged into things for the wrong reasons. God Bless their Souls!

OK i knew it was gonna lead to this so im goin to explain this for you and everyone else that thinks that.

Its called the vicous cirle (sp?)

We help them while they help us.

1. In case of another world war they will basically have our back throught the whole thing. Suppling us with guns tanks and etc. Take france right now for example, we helped them in a previous war and now there really close to us. If we wouldnt of helped france in need we wouldnt of won ww11.

2. Supplies, most of the resources america uses are based and created by outside countries. Take toilet paper for example (bad example i know) but procter and gamble are the biggest suppliers of it. And right now there base of operations is in france. If we didnt have these other countries our econmey would suffer and we would end up like africa or other unwealthy countries.

You guys can bash our bad presidents all you want but if it wasnt for them and out military we wouldnt have all the stuff we have right now. Basically what it all amounts to is we need them as much as they need us.

I know some people who go to Uganda every year and they say that they come back a different person after seeing what goes on in countries like that. O yea and Bush refuses to recognize it as a problem(uganda at least)

it is not America's job to intervene in other countries affairs. Humanitarian efforts are highly ineffective because of corrupt governments in Africa and that is a shame, but people would lose there mind if America intervened in every famine.

im not arguing that im just giving the reasons why we do what we do. I personally think were better off not interfieng with other countries at all. Wever got the money and millitary to keep us up and running.
