perhaps thats why they're in the state they're in?
That's ignorant, get an education first.
1.) Lack natural resources to profit from.
2.) Lack resources for food and water.
3.) Hiking or traveling to another healthier region is only possible by foot, and since it's quite a few dozen to hundred miles they will die on the way.
4.) Lack of education, keeps them from learning english as well as ways to provide for themselves.
5.) Due to their position and place of origination, very few people will take them in for jobs/work/shelter etc.
As to whoever said we have our own poor, the majority of america's poor do not die of aids, malnutrition, or malicious diseases, in fact, we have medicine to hold back aids for 15+ years now.
The reason not to help them out is understandable, since we don't benefit, what's our reason?
I don't believe in donations, because most are somewhat fraudulent, and instead of the money going to help them, it just gives them a few loaves of bread rather than show them how to live on their own, or to get a job or something else.
