The way I see it, the most that my family can do is sponsor a few kids through those programs. Over time, we'll get the technology and means to provide the things necessary to meet everyone's basic needs, but that day is not now.

Also, why did so many people say the US should help? We aren't the only people who have the means to help nations in poverty dammit. And anytime we go to any country, people ***** anyway.

We already have the technology and means to make sure everyone has the necessities of life, we just don't have the will.
