Absolutely the saddest thing I've ever seen on the net

I think that all the rappers that have all this money, and talk about there roots in africa, and how they are african at heart should be giving money to them to. And this will be considered a racist comment buy some, but who knows if it wasnt for slavery that could have been 50 cent right there.

That's ignorant, get an education first.
1.) Lack natural resources to profit from.

2.) Lack resources for food and water.

3.) Hiking or traveling to another healthier region is only possible by foot, and since it's quite a few dozen to hundred miles they will die on the way.

4.) Lack of education, keeps them from learning english as well as ways to provide for themselves.

5.) Due to their position and place of origination, very few people will take them in for jobs/work/shelter etc.
You are incorrect on number 1 & 2. Not totally, but you don't fully understand the issue.

In America, we practice large scale single crop farming, know that the market will be there to support it and that investments in things such as heavy equipment, seeds, and fertilizers will pay off.

If you are an American and borrow heavily for agriculture and a storm/weather wipes out your crops you are just broke. If you are an African then you will die. Therefore, they use the same farming techniques used for 1000s of years. They cannot risk improving because if they fail they will starve to death.

They have plenty of water and agriculture products that flourish in that area. Problem is access to clean water. They use the restroom in the same water they drink from.

The solution to Africa's problem is a total change and intense development in infrastructure. Not truckloads of food that rot because there are no roads.

You need roads, ****s, irrigation, water treatment facilities. Unfortunatley, none of those items are beautiful and people have this perception that the food is more important than the infrastructure. If 10,000 people die due to starvation so the the rest of the community can grow by choosing investments in infrastructure rather than dropping food from the sky, that is a pill Africa will need to take.

They do though, I've done personal resources from it, although I don't doubt what you say either.

One of Africa's main exports are things along the lines of diamond, bananas, rubber, palm-oil and many other low grade items. But, these are not available everywhere, some places are completely scarce and barren.

They do keep the same agriculture, but it is still very little compared to what they need. In some areas such as northern cameroon a common food for survival is rat.

It really really depends on the area though.

There's no means for any country to invest in an infrastructure though if it will not help the country giving them the resources to do so. If anything, it might be possible if the country is given a portion of the land for helping, but this would never get through UN.

i think we need to fix all our problems in our own states before we go off doing all this shit for others...

do you know how many ids in the US look like that and dont have all the proper things they need to keep there lives going.

i say we quit helping eveyone else and help our own 1st!!

3 words...it revolutionized China, India, and anywhere else

Allow private investment

If private equity knew that if they invested in Africa and that the government would not condem any investments made, there would be barges at Catapillar heavy machinery headed overseas in next to no time. But in current situtation, there is no legal system to provide secuity to investors, therefore investors do not invest.

You forgot about crude oil from Nigeria.
