What are you talking about man. Ppi is the ****. Where else can you get 2000 watts for $20

I asked on here what a good quality amp was and when i asked it was the bee's knees... bout to sell it and go back to type r's and a m1000 amp. because one person says this "not name brand is *******" and then is blows..

So unless you spend 2k on a system it is going to be **** you are saying? because like i stated i never had a problem with my "******" type r's and m1000 amp. certainly hit harder then this **** this forum suggested.

In that thread about JL people recommended so very good stuff. Seems you went with the cheapest one. Which amp did you get exactly?

Im still saying your amp is setup wrong. That's the key to sound. The box is fine, the amp is enough, subs are ok. Also if your front stage ***** your subs will sound like ****. Try lowering your SS filter, setting the gain right... LPF around 80hz.

I dont see anything wrong with the PPI bk1800, as for the HDS2/HDS3's , i wouldnt buy them simply because they are same price as the older SDC2.0/2.5's and built cheaper and have a higher fail rate then 2.0/2.5s. The SDC2.5's were good subs, built stronger, and would take more a bit more then rated power. but everyone has their own opinions
