Go score a 77 in MECA SQ, 150db at the headrest, 130db P and P, and demo all day... I got a bit of a clue
I've never did SQ. Not my thing, I've pulled over 150 on the dash on a term. I'm not worried about numbers with you. Just product knowledge mostly.

I really have never looked into welding wire because it did not matter to me.
You would do well to stop being so arrogant, you might actually learn something. Car audio wire is the exact same as welding wire but with a fancy name printed on the jacket. Some of the better car audio wire companies oversize their wire while some of the other companies undersize it, making it very unpredictable and inconsistent from brand to brand. Welding wire is made according to the national electric standard for wire sizes making it much more predictable. And considering OFC is OFC I'm not sure why you'd be so bent on paying more for a shiny jacket but it's your money to blow.

Thank you kind sir.

i will admit that the welding wire i have seen has a smaller strand count but the induvidual strands were almost double that of the car audio wire. the fact that the welding wire is made for higher current/heat is a seller for me. still just as flexible too. oh yeah and the price....welding wire is worth it for sure..
