A question for the anti JL Audio people out there

Your right but either way it was all the bass + some I needed. I was thinking about doing a 8 and seeing if I could make it sound just as good if not better than a 12 but Ive never heard a 8 before so I'm not sure what kind of preformance I could get with something that small.

An 8 can sound good but it's still an 8 and will be disadvantaged to a equal larger sub....they can get nasty and provide a wow factor though if that's what u want.....

Ya the TC SOunds/Eclipse lineup offers some great subs.

Maybe I just need to listen to one before I decide. I keep thinking I want to do one for the WOW factor but then I think it's a 8 and to small. I've always been a 12 kind of guy.

JBL GTi MKII is a highly regarded SQ sub. I'd say TC 1000/TC Epic, but they're out of stock at PE.

I decided to sell it cause I didnt have the money to get a new amp after my old one fried and yes I did get it at Audio Visionz. My uncle owns it which is a big reasons I've become a JL fan. I've always used the stuff he sell and just decided I want to try something new.

I've heard (and owned) Q setups, and while the Q is by no means a bad sounding woofer, it isn't an "SQ" sub.

How did you have it set up in your system?
