A question for the anti JL Audio people out there

How did you have it set up in your system?

In my system I have an 18 running in 6.5 cubes tuned to 32 running off an aq2200. My buddy has a 15" Q running off 1500w in 3.5 cubes tuned to 33. It's not a bad sounding sub by any means, it's just not meant to be a true SQ sub. It's made to get loud and low which it does a great job of.

Very quickly I own a shop in Houston Texas and dropped JL Audio and have been doing really well with Diamond Audio. Diamonds products have a longer warranty, better built, and cost less. I don't know what else you could possibly ask for..

Ditto. I liked JL until I realized there was a ton of better speakers out there for the money...

Anyone that buys JL either doesn't know or knows and wants those that don't know to think they're the #1 ballwasher.

Don't get me wrong, JL makes some great stuff but they're just way way too overpriced...

Thanks for the information. I was thinking of using a 12" in a sealed enclosure.

tc, ascendant audio, ssa, incriminator lethal injection, arc audio black series, boston acoustics, eclipse titaniums, image dynamics, morel, jbl gti and hertz are at the top of my list.

I think the morels would be the only one I'd use over the w6 if I was going sq. I haven't heard hertz subs out side of a sound board though.
