A little help would be greatly appreciated

hello, im looking to add a sub and an amp to my 1991 suburban. i listen to music with lots of double bass (Slipknot, Chimaira, In Flames) i want it to be loud, very loud but still clear and i was wondering what would work the best. i was thinking about a 12" sub and some kind of amp. space is not a problem yet budget is. i only have about $350-$450 to work with, maybe a lil more. thanks for any suggestions and advice

a 12" or two is about the right range for what you are looking for you will need a mono block amplifier if you are just concerned with running a few subs, I dont know if you will be able to get into the very loud range with this type of bidget and the amount of space in your truck

mono block amps I can reccomend would be cadence and planet audio, with cadence being my preference between the two

in the case of sub brands a JL will do nicely 2 would be better hehe

thats all I can think of I will leave the rest up to the guys here they know their stuff.

Also maybe he should look into 10's if he's into the double bass scene?
