98 volvo system install

okay, so i have only really installed systems in POS easy *** early 90;s cars..

well my mom have me her volvo wagon, and im putting a 15" t3 tss sub in it

i am not upgrading the deck so i need to know, rca's and remote, what do i use, i have a PAC converter that was in my buddys grand am w/ his stock deck that you plug into the rear speakers.. but it is hella confusing..

and plus the rear speakers are in the doors and i really dont feel like running the rca's thought the boot in the door jam..

now for power wire.. i really dont trust my self drilling a hold in the firewall becasae its a **** volvo and knowing my luck ill hit a wire or soemthing..

so any ideas guys?

i dont have any more monies to afford to pay someone..

i had to scrape together all my pennies just to afford and extra foot of ground wire..

um. so you have all this nice stuff, but don't know how to use a converter?

if you knew anything, you'd get a real CD player, knowing that the head unit is the start of a worth a shit system.

You can run the power wire under the car, and then into the trunk. Easier to miss anything just drilling into the trunk.

i dont feel like bypassing the factory amp, i dont have 3 hrs of useless time, lol

and i know how to use the converter i was just wondering if there were any other ways because to use said converter i would have run the rca's though the door and i dont feel like it

no, i can do it, iwas just wondering alternitives so i dont **** up an 8000 dollar car.. lol..

cause i know there are a few guys on here with volvos or audis that could tell me whats up.. lol
