.87cf to work with. advice please

I have a car audio factory enclosure. its .87 per chamber, i have 8" of depth to work with and its a downfire box.

i need 2 12"s!

i was thinking 2 IDq's powered by a alpine pdx-1000?

any other suggestions?? or just build my own box and try to get more cubes out of it.

i was thinkin 2 idq's or 2 spg 555's... now just gotta pick out an amp. someone said add 1lb of polyfill in each chamber if i went with the 555's because they call for a min of 1.0cf. isnt that kinda ghetto? lol

Nothing wrong with polyfill.

Consider the Mach5 IXL 12. It should be quite happy in that airspace.

The new SI BM's only take. 50 per if I am not mistaken. 500rms each and they are comparing them to the old Mags, which sounded fantastic if you ask me.

2 12" boston g5's (7-3/8" mounting depth) get decently loud and sound great with about 500 watts each. I just threw 2 of them in my rsx and am pretty happy with the result. Just use polyfill as they need about a cube each sealed.
