.85 cubes (internally) for Type R??

Will that size box give you good low-end bass also? I have been told sizes from .75 - 2.75 cubic feet for a single 12"... so what is the best size? I just need the magic number to start my build... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

Thanks,

is that whole QTC thing only for sealed? or does it apply to ported, because ported boxes are generally larger so shoudlnt they create a really high QTC?

While ported boxes aren't "rated" by Qtc, they are a high Q alignment. "Q", or "quality", is essentially just a measure of resistance to oscillation/damping. And ported boxes are underdamped (high Q) systems.
