8 alpine type r 10s or 18 sundown e8s

Which would be the loudest and sound the best? They will be powered by 2 rd 3250.1 amps at .5 So roughly 7000 watts. I like the idea of 18 8s just for the wow factor but........ what do you think.

FYI, your total cone area for the (18) 8s will be 904.32 vs. total area for the (8) 10s will be 628.

Agreed. How many people do you know (or heard of) that have 8 10s? Now, how many do you know have 18 8s?

18 8's will be much harder to wire and get an even ohm load than 8 8's.

With 8 of them you can wire to 1 amp and get a 0.5 ohm load or 2 amps each with 1 ohm.

18 I dont even wanna do the math

truf, but its not always about cone area yo. why not factor in xmax into this yo
