Two 8" subs or one 10" sub?

I am looking for a little more bass but still sq focused. I plan on running these in a small sealed enclosure and have about 400 watts at 2 ohms. I currently have one e8 and thinking of adding a second one, or just upgrading to a single 10" sub. It will be going under the rear seat of an 2000 ext cab Gmc. Which will yield better results? I like the e8 and it sounds good, but I am wanting more and wondering if another would make much of a difference. Offer up any suggestions.

I have it in about .3 sealed now and I like the sound. I am just looking for a little more ouput. I have the front and rear speakers getting about 75 watts and need more from the sub to blend more.

I understand what you are saying that more cone area is better. But will it sound better with more volume than a 10? If anyone has any experience hearing the difference, that would be ideal.

usually a single 10 is pretty equal to 2 8's. as far as your choices go i would stick with the 8 and add another. or if you decide to do a 10 get a higher powered one like a re se or somthing along those lines its still has some nice sq and gets loud.
