6x8 to 6.5 speaker adapters

does anyone make them in MDF and sell them. i would make them my self but I dont have the tools and id spend too much buying the tools just for that. i see these plastic ones, but i hear they ****.

Moe Lester or someone else that builds boxes would be good to talk with.

I built my own out of acrylic, but I had major clearance issues to deal with...

steal them out of a package of kicker 6.5's they have those brakets.

well i make mine out of 1/2 inch mdf,and router the mounting hole to counter sink the speaker to avoid it rubbing the door panel.

i used adapters to mount xxx mids in the factory locations, no rattling at all.

i recommended a 6x8 to 6.5 adapter for my brother's 240sx and he hasn't complained yet

i think you can get em from http://www.crutchfield.com but i don't know what they are made of. and i am pretty sure they include them for free if you order speakers from them.
