I think his punishment is fair in every aspect. He was caught 10 times, imagine how many times he got away with it. He obviously has an alcohol problem which means he's only harming himself while putting others in danger. A very selfish man IMHO. Only alcohol he'll be getting now is from the fermenting bag of fruit under his cell bed.

Anyone who thinks this unfair should ask someone who has losted a loved one to a DUI related accident.

Lets also add this for people not going to the link and just jumping to a conclusion without all the facts.

Falco had nine prior DWI convictions and served prison terms from five to 10 years. He also had convictions for theft, family violence assault and forgery.

So terms of 5-10 didn't straighten him up. His portfolio consists of more criminal priors than just drinking. This was all weighed in when the judge FAIRLY sentenced him.

Rehab woulda made more sense, but hell, the more people they throw in prisons the bigger they get to make them, the more money they get for them, until eventually all of our kids are just sitting in them.

What it have made more sense if you were reading a victim's impact statement in court when he took the life of a loved one?
