Best place to get ipod repaired?

Looking to get an IPOD repaired that is out of warranty. Closest Apple store is 2.5 hours. Anyone have any good places that I could send it to for repair? I was checking out IRESQ.com Sound output does not work on top jack or bottom jack. Apple said it was most likely the HD but how can they tell when they don't have the IPOD. And I don't understand since everything else works fine.

yea i have an 30 gig right now just collecting dust i need to get this bish repaired asap! also have an bricked psp!
