5 channel amp help

hey guys i just bought a 5 channel crunch power one amp and i hooked it up in my truck with one 12" pioneer shallow mount and two 6x9s.. the problem is the 6x9s only played bass and were all distored. i tried messing with all the settings on the amp the distortion went away but the speakers made no sound. idk if i have it wired wrong or what. i ended up just taking the amp out and putting my old 2000w bamf in for my sub. any help would be great i just want to know how i can hook up those extra speakers. thanks

well i think that might be my problem cuz my headunit only has one rca out. so i bought 2 y splitters and tried that...does that not work lol

pioneer DEH-3300UB. it wouldnt work even if i got rid of the sub and just hooked up the 6x9 spkrs?

Did you check the amps cross over to make sure it was on full pass?

shows your headunit has front and rear/sub pre-amp outs. chances are you used the rear/sub pre-amp out and didn't change the setting on the headunit to send a full signal. if that isn't it I really couldn't tell you without more info.

i think i know what ur talkin about. on the headunit settings it says subwoofer 1 and subwoofer 2. and if u click on that it goes down to like 60khz and up to 180khz. is that what ur talking about? if so what should they be set at? because physically there is only one set of rca coming out of the back of the headunit. thanks again

You should be able to set the RCA output to full pass, not subwoofer. The the amp output for the 6x9 should be high pass.

There should be another setting for SW Control that you can set to make the pre-outs fullrange. It will say something like "RearSp/Preout---Full".
