if I were u i would get a kinetik or powermaster battery that does fit under the hood of ur car... Optimas are kool but not the best.. I would also do one more run of positive 0 gauge and one run of negative 0 gauge to ur rear batts. I would do 2 dekas in the back.

I'll look into those, I don't like the idea of paying $200 for a battery... And I'll see about doing another run of 0 awg, I can barely pop on my panels to hide the single run as it is now.

Just Look around.. Im sure u can find one in your area used but cheap.. u can probably get away with that single run of 0 gauge u have now after u see how ur voltage drop is when everything is set n done. Picked up the 2 Dekas, oh lord they are huge and heavy hahaha!!! So now I need a battery for under the hood. How would one of these go?

To update anyone: Alt- 130amps at idle, 180 at 1400RPM, voltage will sit at 14.4 -14.7. 2 Deka 9a31's for the trunk.

if you have a lead acid up front the dekas will most likely destroy it, the will charge off of it and run it dead, it would be a good idea to either get a agm that will fit up fornt, a battery isolator or remove the front batter all together, then you dont have to worry about it any more.

match up same technology batteries yes but just so you know AGM, VLRA, SLA, GEL and regular old school water flooded batteries are all lead acid batteries. The biggest differences are if they are sealed and what the chemicals are suspended in.
