4 W1's vs. 2 Type-R's?

Would 2 12" type-r's at 700rms each in a 3-4cubic foot ported box be louder than 4 12" jl w1's each at 300rms in a ported box also, dont know the exact size box.

Depends on what vehicle and what size box...But i'd have to go with the 4 dub 1's.

the 12" Type R's can take 1000 watts RMS Each , put them in a TCAB Box and there ya are

I cant say for sure, but I own a single 12w1v2 sealed......used to be ported, and it gets very loud for what it is. Im only pushing 170watts to one, and you would be very impressed with this entry subs output. It sounds great also. This is the replacement for the WOs everyone raved about, an this sub has a larger surround, larger motor and voicecoil, and has a rubber surround.
