you know when the bass is that loud you are damaginf your hearing withing 10 seconds.. probably less... your tempanic membrane is probably as floppy as your grandma's *******...

so i well wear hear plugs. i don't need to hear the stupid bass.

im more of a feel guy. also with that kinda bass i could listen to it farther away. a party truck would not be a downfall.

why not recomend your set up to mean then! it sounds like that is exactly what i am looking for and you listen to exactly what i listen too

well all i have to say is im extremely satisfied with my switch. 2 Fi SSD 10's (with the flatwind coil) and a Soundstream PCA-2000d. Itll rattle your head too, and it sound so good compared to how it sounded before. Everyone who heard my MTs who hear my SSD's now, they say the bass is so much cleaner but i still got the boom. i dont know if its true, but im told they can hear me from further away too.

one thing that the MTs had that the SSD's dont tho..you definately feel SSD's when they hit no doubt, but they dont have that feeling like someone is standing on your chest like the MTs did when they hit. but thats not really a bad thing.

personally i like the sound of most 10's ive heard more than the 12's ive heard... as far as ported. Now when it comes to sealed i think that 12's and 15's really sound good ported. Of course, ive not heard THAT many systems... but inthe ones i have heard, 10's were **** good.

alright thank you. also is your box ported or sealed? im a sealed guy so if yours is ported do you think i'll get the same effect?

yeah it says 1600x1 but i heard it is a little over rated. never got it tested though. got it 3 days ago and all i got lieing around are p1's

mines ported. all i know is ported is louder so thats what i did.

BTW: i like sq. my MT setup was for show. i only have my bass remote turned all the way up pulling up to places/leaving places. while im driving its all the way down..or 1/4 the way up. but when im showin off to people and have them around my truck..the looks on their faces is just as good as it was with my RE's

if its puttin out 1600wrms. youll be runnin the SSD's right at their rms rating. 800/sub. perfect.

Those will be perfect with your amp I have a pair BNIB for $500 shipped...I bought them for a projecy and changed my mind.....If you are trully interested I'll break one open for a pic....They are massive double stacked magnet and a nice basket...
