My 2 DD 10's put down 4 Rockford P3's at the last show I was at ...I beat him by 3dbs...and I had less power

here we go again. it doesnt take any more power to run a 15 than a 10 or 12, assuming it uses the same motor. the only difference would be the price, which is usually 20-30 bucks per speaker to go from a 12 to a 15.

so maybe a single 15 well get her done?

i want the sub reaching decent excursion on everyhit, and if you say it won't sound any different then a 10 doing the same then it sounds like a 15 well be great. seeing as i can crank that to get my bass

i think hes going for the "more subs, more impressive" stand point. you know how it was when yall were just getting into car audio and you looked in a truck with 4 12s, or 6 15s, it was like "****, i bet hes loud". then to find it would only play 146's on the meter.

thats just what im kinda gettin outta this. if so..4 RE RE 8s could work for ya

those look like t1's or t2's . that **** good if you beat those.

but im not going for more subs more impressive. but my old set was in a sealed box with 2 12's (diveded air space) and when one of the connections went bad i lost alot of bass and was highley un happy.

the way i see it is if i want to get a 12 stroung enough so sound like 2 i'd need more money and a new amp.

everyone keep in mind i have a bx1605D and i plan on keeping it.

please recomend what you think is best for that. not only size but im asking for a brand too guys. please help

yah I was thinking along the same lines

you really don't want to spend that kind of cash on something you'll keep turned down 90% of the time and only turn it up to inflate your self-esteem around your friends...
