hey, I've got 2 Rockford Punches. The P310D4 with a molded polypropylene cone. One has a crack on it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gif , it looks like someone kicked it or hit ir with a small blunt object... Its fairly small about 3/4" - 1" in diameter.... Is there anything I can buy to fix it??? This sub costs about 150 each so I'd rather try fixing... Anyone??

Ok.. I've been looking at soooo many different adhesives and I came across one that might work... Its the 3M Scotch-Weld... Its made especially for polymers like polyurethane, polyethylene, and polypropelyne... Think this might work??? It sounds perfect, it's flexible, strong, and helps the surface to become more high-energy so it can bond better. I just think it might be to heavy of a material for the sub's cone thats why people use CA glue.

Alright.. I couldn't find the sm Scotch-Weld in town aywhere, so i found some CA glue with a polymer activator at Wal-Mart of all places. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif i have some pics that ill try to get up soon... It seems like it will work great.. It bonded and is pretty tough... will test tomorrow!!

i really think you should have buffed the area a little to give the aplicator a little more bite. things hold better that way. and the coat you put on looks weak. but i bet that it well hold. atleast for a month or so. possible a good year if ya lucking.
