4 tens or 2 twelves?

You've never sat in my car before and heard my two 10's have you .....lol
no, but i've heard louder. most people with 2 10's dont have the know-how or money to do 150+. yes i am aware tommyk90 did 150+ with 1 type r 10, but thats not everyone.

i dont doubt your 2 10's are loud, but you spend what, 800-1000 on your 2 10's and about the same on the amps to run them, then about the same on your electrical system to back those amps up? he's talking about spending 100-200 on a 10.

how much for two DD 15's?
well let's see here... they are at least $300 each... so 600, now to drive them both properly you'll need a new amp... like 2kw, so there goes another $500.... then you'll need new wiring, $150, a new HO alt/battery $500 and a whole bunch of time installing it all....

So in the end like $1750+ top do it right

alright so no 15's i guess

no... it'd be wasted overkill anyways.... a single ten or twelve will do you just right... just spend time asking questions, listening and understanding suggestions and do the install right....

Install is 80% of it anyways...

you really don't want to spend that kind of cash on something you'll keep turned down 90% of the time and only turn it up to inflate your self-esteem around your friends...

what about rockford p3's.

i when the kick drum hits i love to feel the power not just hear the bass. so i want to be pushin it hard. and if i do that with a 15 it won't sound quite right well it?

are the p3's to small for the amp. i want to get the most out of it

I know he is within a budget...That is why I showed the pic of the system with basic 8's...the 147 in street beat was actually on the low side...That truck can do a 150+ street beat and closer to 152 outlaw....Those numbers were with an amp that is half of what is on it now...We just haven't had a recent show to get verified scores....

here we go again. it doesnt take any more power to run a 15 than a 10 or 12, assuming it uses the same motor. the only difference would be the price, which is usually 20-30 bucks per speaker to go from a 12 to a 15.

alright sounds good. but i would prefer to have 2 rather then 1.

im just afraid of the number 1 i guess.
